The Washington Capitals will play the Boston Bruins at 12 PM on Sunday. The game will be aired on NBC Sports Washington. The Caps will be the home team.
The matinee will be the Capitals’ final game played in the Round Robin to determine their final seeding in the opening round of the 2020 Playoffs.
Boston won the regular-season series, 2-1, against the Capitals, outscoring Washington 12-8.
If the Capitals beat the Bruins on Sunday they will play the New York Islanders in the first round of the playoffs while if they lose, they’ll play the Carolina Hurricanes in a rematch of last year.
