Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo is vlogging from the NHL bubble

Kasimir Kaskisuo, one of the four goaltenders that the Toronto Maple Leafs have brought into the Phase 4 of the NHL’s Return To Play process is giving us a taste of what life is like for players inside the Toronto bubble.

The Finnish netminder put out a vlog on his YouTube channel, showcasing his first two days in the aforementioned quarantine bubble.

He starts his vlog by showing off some of the swag and other things that the Leafs have provided their players heading into the bubble. For Kaskisuo specifically, this includes vegan protein powder, different bottles of vitamins, dietary supplements, and powdered drinks for hydration.

The Leafs have also provided players with a few different options when it comes to quarantine attire in the form of team-branded golf shirts and a team-branded tracksuit, and another team-branded tracksuit, and oh you guessed it another team-branded tracksuit.

Next the goaltender shows us around the Fairmont Royal York where all of the Eastern teams not named the Washington Capitals, Boston Bruins, Tampa Bay Lightning, Philadelphia Flyers, and Pittsburgh Penguins are staying until the qualifying rounds have ended. He shows us the Leafs team-branded hotel floor, his room’s bathroom setup, his XBOX ready to go at any moment, and family photos that the team and/or league has seemingly provided some (or all) players in the bubble.

Another hot topic in the bubble will, of course, be the food situation. Kaskisuo, as previously noted is a vegan, wasn’t exactly impressed with the number of dinner options he had. It looks like he might need to get very used to falafel for the next few weeks.

The NHL is doing daily testing of its players and we don’t miss that process in the vlog as Kaskisuo lets us get close and personal with his nostrils as they get swabbed.

Finally, we get a look at the masks the Leafs are providing for their players and we’re not talking goalie equipment. The hockey players are wearing them and you need to as well.
