The Nats and Caps’ friendship continues to be the greatest thing.
Wednesday, Juan Soto showed off his excitement about the NHL’s 24-team playoff announcement. The Nationals’ superstar outfielder took to Instagram to say, “We need hockey back 🥺🥺🥺.”
Within minutes, Jakub Vrana was made fun of by Carl Hagelin in the comments.

Vrana replied to Soto’s photo, “Can’t wait bro ❤️.” That’s when Hagelin entered the chat to tease Vrana about his outfit, which included a plum suit and Capitals hat.
What a chirp.
Soto’s photo is from the Nats’ World Series celebration at Capital One Arena on November 3, 2019, which featured a shirtless Zamboni ride, lots of drinking, and a Jakub Vrana hat trick. After the game, the Nationals went onto the ice and played hockey (poorly) – one of the highlights of the season.
