Former Capital Marcus Johansson is now the father of two young girls. Johansson took to Instagram on Wednesday to post photos of his new daughter, Elize.
“How lucky am I? Two perfect little princesses and a Queen, @amelia87, who is just truly amazing!” Johansson wrote. “To say that Mila is a proud big sister is an understatement.”
Johansson posted two photos of Elize including a photo of his four-year daughter holding the newborn on the couch.
Several of Johansson’s former and current NHL teammates congratulated him on the birth of Elize including Charlie McAvoy, Zdeno Chara, and Vladimír Sobotka.
Johansson seems to have embraced his role as a father whole-heartedly. The forward has posted many adorable photos of Mila (and the resemblance is uncanny).
