With the announcement that the NHL will not return until May at the earliest, NBC Sports Washington is doing all it can to fulfill hockey needs in the DMV.
Today, they are airing all of Alex Ovechkin’s hat tricks from this season. Ovi has four hat tricks this season, so that is a full day of hockey to watch. We promise not to spoil any of the endings.

- 12pm: Chasing Hockey Greatness (a show documenting Ovechkin’s chase to 700 goals)
- 12:30pm: Capitals at Red Wings from November 30
- 3pm: Capitals vs. Devils from January 16
- 6pm: Capitals at Islanders from January 18
- 8:30pm: Capitals vs. Kings from February 4
NBC Sports Washington has filled their TV schedule with some other Capitals greats throughout the past week. On March 15, they replayed the Capitals Championship Parade.
