As of now, the Caps are still scheduled to host the Red Wings tonight. The NHL expects to have an announcement about the coronavirus situation later today. On Wednesday, the NBA announced the suspension of its season.
The CDC offers these recommendations for the general public:
- Clean your hands often
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Stay home if you’re sick
- Cover coughs and sneezes
- Wear a facemask if you are sick
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily.
