Alex Ovechkin is becoming a father of two boys. Ovechkin’s wife, Nastya Ovechkina, announced the gender of her baby in an Instagram post celebrating her recent baby shower. Sergei is going to become an older brother.
The party was organized by Varvara Orlova, Dmitry Orlov’s wife.
“My girls threw such a beautiful, sincere, and funny #babyshower, headed by @ varvara_41791 😍” Nastya wrote. “Thank you, dear, for a wonderful party. A smile didn’t leave my face all evening.”
The baby shower featured black, white, and gold-colored deserts. There was a top hat cake as well as cookies and cupcakes with bowties and the type “little gentleman” drawn onto them with icing.
Everyone who attended the party, boys and girls, wore a white shirt, black pants, and a black bow tie. Capitals’ Russians Dmitry Orlov, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Ilya Samsonov were in attendance.
