NBC Sports Washington trained an overhead camera on the Washington Capitals while they were in the tunnel readying for warmups in Winnipeg, Thursday.
And it’s… a lot.
The Capitals, who are known for already having an exorbitant amount of pregame rituals and superstitions, now have even more with the addition of Brenden Dillon.

Dillon’s got some high fives for a few teammates, he checks his massive mane with Carl Hagelin, he shares a complicated high five with Tom Wilson, and he taps sticks with Alex Ovechkin.
The best part about the video is that if you watch a different player every time and you’ll see something new. It’s incredible. It’s like you’re looking at a tiny town from above and everyone has different jobs. A real-life SimCity: Caps-r-weird Edition.
The Capitals also shared video of Ilya Kovalchuk bumping mitts with his teammates as they walked out onto the ice.
