There were a lot of important things that happened last night. Alex Ovechkin was honored for scoring 700 goals, Ilya Kovalchuk made his Capitals debut, and the Caps won in the shootout.
But behind the scenes, something else momentous happened.
You guys, Ovi Jr met Captain.
For me, this is the highlight of the night.
Sergei has clearly learned how to give nice pets and not grab a dog’s face to say hi. This is the sign of good parenting and a dog, Blake, who clearly must have a lot of love and patience.
