It’s unclear if Kuzy will join the team during their three-game road trip.
Reirden being tightlipped about Kuznetsov’s status. Would only say he’s day-to-day. No determination re: his availability for the upcoming road trip. #Caps

Kuznetsov suffered his injury midway through the second period. The Russian center was crunched by Leo Komarov into the boards by the Islanders bench. Kuzy left the ice favoring his left shoulder and immediately went down to the tunnel.
The Capitals later announced that Kuznetsov was “questionable” to return in the third period. Ultimately, he did not.
