He got a lot of special attention from Jakub Vrana.

The puppy and Vrana spent several minutes together. Vrana gave him lots of rubs. And then showed off the pup’s big ears.
V went back to the locker room and got his gear on for practice. He came back and spent several more minutes with Captain.

Captain eventually got the bug to play hockey himself, stealing Carl Hagelin’s glove, and trying to go out on the ice with his hockey dad Alex Ovechkin.
Later he did with Garnet Hathaway.
