New dad Nic Dowd has been assessed a 10-minute misconduct penalty for throwing Andrei Svechnikov’s stick into the audience at the end of Friday’s game in Carolina.

Svechnikov reportedly got his stick back, and now Dowd will be in the naughty box for ten minutes.
