Tom Wilson’s beautiful face was sullied during the Bruins-Capitals game. And it didn’t happen during the hockey fight he was in, which is the most confusing part.
Late in the second period, Wilson was high-sticked by Bruins forward Anders Bjork as the Capitals enforcer tried to land an open-ice hit in the Caps offensive zone.

But as soon as Tom hit the bench, head athletic trainer Jason Serbus closed Wilson’s cut up and the first line winger did not miss a shift.
