TJ Oshie had an electric second period on Wednesday, recording back-to-back goals to give the Caps the lead over the Boston Bruins.
The first goal was a hardworking net-front effort. The second was the result of some god-tier fancy moves.
Goal 1
On the power play, Oshie got a chance low in the slot against Boston goalie Jaroslav Halak. Oshie roofed the puck but his crossbar. He caught his own rebound and sunk it, tying the game 1-1.

Goal 2
Three and a half minutes later, Oshie sliced through the Boston defense like a mandolin. Connor Clifton will be haunted by these moves.
Outside, inside.
Forehand, backhand.
Right under the bar.

The Capital One Arena went wild as Oshie’s goal song, “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver (written by Bill and Taffy Danoff) filled the room.
