Joe Thornton rocked Petr Mrazek with a right hand during the Sharks-Hurricanes game Thursday.
Friday morning, the Hurricanes returned to the ice at Raleigh Center Ice for practice and there was some special artwork near the Canes crease.

According to Cory Lavalette, someone also mocked Hurricanes’ assistant coach Dean Chynoweth too.
By the way, the ice also had a “RIP Dean” near one of the blue lines. Chynoweth took a spill in the spot a couple practices back, so while you have the spray paint out….
