Brad Marchand was doing Brad Marchand things against the Washington Capitals.
Well, that is until Tom Wilson got involved.

Towards the end of the first period, Kempny gave Marchand an extra shove after a whistle. Marchand responded by shoving Kempny directly in the face with both of his gloved hands.
Tom Wilson saw all of this happening and didn’t like it very much. So he quickly skated over to Marchand to diffuse the situation.
As Wilson shoved Marchand, the rat dove to the ice. He was probably trying to draw a penalty and also save his own life.
