Evgeny Kuznetsov scores breakaway goal on Marc-Andre Fleury, brings back bird celly

The bird is back.

Evgeny Kuznetsov scored in the first minute of the rematch of the 2018 Stanley Cup Final.

The goal gave the Caps a 1-0 lead 58 seconds into the game.

After taking a fantastic pass from Dmitry Orlov from the Caps blue line, Kuzy raced in all alone, deked twice, and beat Marc-Andre Fleury on his forehand.

Kuznetsov did the bird celebration into the arms of Orlov.

Including his tally tonight, Kuznetsov has six points in his last three games. The breakaway goal is Kuznetsov’s sixth goal of the season.
