Ilya Samsonov will start instead of Braden Holtby against the Toronto Maple Leafs

Braden Holtby was pulled from Monday’s game against the Colorado Avalanche after allowing three goals on three shots.

Holtby has saved 85.2 percent of 88 shots at five-on-five this season, well below his previous performance. Samsonov has impressed in his play so far, saving 94.4 of the 54 shots he’s faced.
