When the Capitals traded Matt Niskanen for Radko Gudas over the summer, they knew they’d be getting a hard-hitting defenseman. They also got a bonus: Gudas’s adorable son, who joined him in the locker room on Tuesday after a morning practice.
Kvido, the Gudases oldest son, sat on the bench with a puck in his lap, waiting for dad to finish up.

The Gudases have three children: oldest son Kvido, middle daughter Leontynka, and a new baby who was born during preseason.
Kvido’s visit comes the night after Alex Ovechkin and Dmitri Orlov’s sons, Sergei and Kirill, attended their first Capitals game ever.
On Sunday, it was Benjamin Holtby who joined his dad for a skate at the practice rink. The Capitals’ dad strength and kid strength just keeps growing.
