Nicklas Backstrom wore a Washington Nationals hat to practice today

The Washington Capitals have been thoroughly behind the Washington Nationals during their magical MLB postseason run and that didn’t stop today.

Ahead of Game Four of the National League Championship Series, Nicklas Backstrom wore a Nationals hat to practice.

With a win against the St. Louis Cardinals, the Nationals will go to the World Series for the first time in franchise history.

Backstrom has attended many Nationals games during his time in DC. He even threw out a first pitch in May 2007.
