Hockey players have their own struggles when it comes to finding pants that fit.
According to Dylan Larkin, hockey players have “relatively small waists, and big quads, big thighs, and big butt.” He’s struggled to find dress pants that fit and are comfortable for his whole career…that is until now!
Larkin addresses his pants problems and reveals his solution in this 30-second commercial.

“My name is Dylan Larkin and I have a hockey butt,” the video starts dramatically. Larkin is then videotaped from ground level doing a squat. There are then close-ups of his quads and his thighs.
Larkin said he previously felt like he was going to “bust through the seams” before he found State & Liberty dress pants. With his new pants, he can lift his leg, tie his shoes, and do a lot of squats (if that’s your cup of tea when you’re dressed to impress).
State & Liberty was founded by two University of Michigan alumns, one of which, Lee Moffie, played four years on the ice hockey team (though Larkin and Moffie’s time at Michigan didn’t overlap). Moffie also played one year on the South Carolina Stingrays, the Capitals ECHL affiliate.
