Evgeny Kuznetsov cheers on Washington Nationals at NL Wild Card Game, does bird celebration after comeback win

Evgeny Kuznetsov is suspended for the first three games of the regular season. He did not join the Washington Capitals on their flight to St. Louis for their season opener so he did the next best thing.

The Russian centerman went to Nationals Park with Designo Motoring’s Abe Hamrah to watch the NL Wild Card Game.

The Nats won in thrilling fashion after Juan Soto drove in three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Look at Kuzy’s face. This man loves his baseball.

Kuzy went absolutely bonkers after Juan Soto gave the Nationals the lead and later did the bird celebration after the Nats won.

So on brand.

Way to go, Nationals! Now that’s a huge postseason win!

We’re all rooting for you.
