- Carolina has a very “OHHH” type crowd (I know you know what I mean) and it annoys me endlessly.
- Beautiful assist from Evgeny Kuznetsov on the Jakub Vrana goal. That was pretty much the only real pretty highlight.
- Radko Gudas is good at hockey. Who woulda thought.
- The Canes did some rather stupid, illegal hockey things in this game. Brock McGinn‘s headshot on Mike Sgarbossa the worst of it.
- Tom Wilson got a ten minute misconduct for being mad because Tim Peel is not good at his job. No, he did not shove an official and no he was not ejected.
