On Sunday morning the Capitals recalled Shane Gersich from Hershey to play in the final preseason game against the Carolina Hurricanes. Gersich will replace Lars Eller in the lineup, but there is no need to worry.
The Capitals decided to be careful with Eller for the final preseason game. Eller was previously dealing with an upper-body injury.
