The 2019-20 Washington Capitals may set the all-time NHL record for the most Dad Power on one team.
Sunday, Jenner Jensen, the wife of Capitals’ defenseman Nick Jensen, announced that she is pregnant on Instagram.
“More exciting news in the Jensen household,” Jenner wrote, holding up a picture of their baby’s first sonogram. “Coming March 2020.”

The Capitals acquired Nick ahead of the 2019 trade deadline. Brian MacLellan immediately signed the blueliner to a four-year deal that will keep him in Washington through the 2022-23 season, giving him the security to start a family.
The Jensens join the Dowds and Oshies who are expecting a baby during the season. The Kuznetsovs and Orlovs also had children during the offseason.
