Alex Ovechkin kept up his yearly tradition of attending the Redskins’ home opener on Sunday.
Ovechkin attended the game with fellow Russian and Capital Dmitry Orlov, as well as his wife, Nastya. The group sat in luxury box seats.

Designo Motoring’s Abe Hamrah was sitting beside Ovechkin and asked him what he thought.
“Let’s go Redskins,” Ovi yelled before pumping his fist.
NBC Sports Washington ran into the Russian duo during the game, and snapped a quick picture of Ovechkin and Orlov together. Ovi was sporting an awesome out-of-print Michael Jordan “Last Shot” shirt from Nike.

Ovi also took the time out to snap a photo with Next Move’s Jordan Stuart — who is Capitals head Coach Todd Reirden’s real estate advisor — and his son.

As they have in the past two home openers with Ovechkin in attendance, the Redskins fell to their opponent, the Dallas Cowboys, 31-21.
