Michal Kempny posted a black/white portrait on his Instagram account Wednesday a day after arriving back in Washington DC.
The Czech defenseman was modeling for ’47 Brand, a company which creates headwear, apparel, and accessories for all the major sports leagues.
“Is it October yet? 😬” wrote a handsome Kempny.
Apparently, I’m not the only observer who found the Capitals blueliner to look especially man-rocket-y in the shot.
Tom Wilson and John Carlson both brought out the fire emojis in the comments to express their feels.
Judging by the Instagram Place tagged, the shots appear to have been taken in the Czech Republic at DRFG Arena – the home of Kempny’s former Czech league team, HC Kometa Brno. The photographer, Radim Hajek, posted two other portraits of Kempny on his personal Instagram.
“During his brief time in the Czech Republic, I shot Stanley Cup winner Michal Kempny for 47 Brand,” Hajek wrote on Instagram. “Thanks for participating! I hope [he wins a championship] and Michal will bring the Stanley Cup to our little country again!
