Richard Panik’s one-year-old daughter shows off dad’s new Capitals gloves

After spending the last two seasons with the Arizona Coyotes, Richard Panik signed with the Washington Capitals as a free agent on July 1, inking a four-year, $11 million deal. Panik is slotted on the depth chart to fill in on the third line for Brett Connolly who left as an unrestricted free agent.

Panik’s move was official then, but now it’s starting to feel really real. The Czech forward recently got his new gear for the upcoming season, which includes red, white, and navy blue Capitals gloves.

He had his one-year-old daughter Lilien model them on his Instagram Story.

I’m aww’ing. Big gloves on a very smol baby!

Panik’s wife Nikola gave birth to Lilien in April 2018.

Yes, there are baby photos.

Capitals Training Camp starts on September 12. Panik could be arriving soon as many players have started to make their way to the area to participate in informal skates already going on.

At least with the new gloves, Panik will now look the part.
