It might be just a summer league game, but Shane Gersich scored one of the most beautiful goals of his career Wednesday night.
In Da Beauty League action, Gersich did the No-Move Move made famous by NHL MVP Nikita Kucherov, sliding the puck through the goaltender’s five-hole while faking a deke.

That is very fast and very incredible. Gersick if you will.
The Capitals’ 2014 fifth-round pick scored two goals on the night and led all Tradition skaters with four shots on goal. Tradition, however, fell to Travis Boyd’s RBC 11-8.

The Capitals are likely very aware of Kucherov’s go-to breakaway move after the Lightning forward gave Braden Holtby fits with it several times during the last two seasons.
Gersich’s best goal of his career is arguably his spin-o-rama goal while playing with the University of North Dakota in 2016.
