The brobeans are back at it again on Instagram.
On Wednesday, Tom Wilson posted two photos in an Instagram gallery. First, he uploaded a throwback photo of him at the scouting combine, which is yikes. The photo, taken in 2012, features an 18-year-old Wilson with short, fluffy hair, and a dazed look. Tom appears about half the size as he currently is.
Next, Wilson showed off his transformation seven years later with his 2018-19 NHL headshot, featuring well-groomed hair, a big bushy beard, and a more sophisticated look on his face.
Of course, Wilson’s comment section was pure fire.
Former teammate and roommate Andre Burakovsky commented within an hour (which of course he did) questioning Wilson’s decision making for posting such a sloppy picture of himself. Wilson commented back warning Burkie that he might just post his, too.
Though that’s more of an idle threat because Andre posted his publicly back in 2013. Sorry, Tom.
Paul Bissonnette commented a version of the Marilyn Monroe quote turned meme, “if you don’t love at my worst, you can’t have me at my best.”
Former teammates Michael Latta and Devante Smith-Pelly swooped in laughing at Wilson. Y’all are cruel!
Even Paige Dowd and Haley Chorney got in on the action, commenting with the crying laughing emoji.
We can always count on Wilson for making us laugh when we need it the most.
