It might be the middle of July, but hockey’s back for many NHL players with Minnesota roots.
Wednesday night, the fourth year of Da Beauty League will begin with three games at Braemar Arena in Edina, Minnesota.
Three Capitals players will be participating in the league this year.

Capitals forwards Travis Boyd (RBC) and Shane Gersich (Tradition) will be participating with defensemen Nick Jensen (Tradition) to try and win the, uh, distinguished John Scott Cup.

Other NHL stars set to participate include former Capital Nate Schmidt, Jake Guentzel, and Dustin Byfuglien. Former All-Star Game MVP John Scott is the summer league’s commissioner.
In years past, TJ Oshie has also participated in the league.
