RMNB takes on USWNT vs England in the Women’s World Cup

We know we’re supposed to be a hockey blog focused on the Washington Capitals.

But right now, the US Women’s National Team is headed into the semifinal of the Women’s World Cup where they’ll be looking to hand England their biggest loss since 1776 and punch their ticket to their fourth World Cup win.

Peter and Julia will provide live commentary on the match, so follow along!

Rapinoe is — what, 33? After playing like 80-90 minutes in two hot, physical games — that she CARRIED for USWNT, I’m okay with her getting rest and the team getting fresh legs, especially since their depth is supposed to be their biggest strength. Do you think she’ll sub in?

They’re also a pretty deep team like USWNT. Nikita Parris is absolutely deadly and I’m sure will be a problem for Crystal Dunn, who was pretty deft against France last game.
