Braden Holtby arrives at Capital Pride Parade wearing a peace shirt 🌈

Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby has arrived at the Capital Pride Parade and he’s wearing a pretty amazing shirt.

Holtby showed off his white tee in a photo with Capitals PA announcer Wes Johnson.

The shirt reads:

VIOLENCE
HATRED
OPPRESSION
CRUELTY
PARANOIA
WAR
INTOLERANCE
BIGOTRY
FEAR
TERROR
PEACE
☮

That’s pretty powerful.

According to RMNB’s Elizabeth Kong, who’s at parade covering the event for us, Holtby slipped on a Capitals pride shirt overtop this white t-shirt shortly after he arrived.

Saturday marks the third time Holtby has marched in the Capital Pride Parade.

Capitals anthem singer Bob McDonald is also marching and posed in a photo with Johnson.
