The nominations for the second annual NHL Fan Choice Awards are in!
Last year, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Brett Connolly’s failed fist bump won Best GIF of the Year. This year, the categories have been expanded from ten to twenty, making it harder to find all your faves. But we got your backs, you guys.
Here are the categories where you can vote for your favorite Caps content. Voting is open from now until June 15. The winners will be announced online on June 19.
This should be an automatic win.
Sure, it’s less a “moment” than a “movement,” but it’s still better than anything else on #HockeyTwitter.
Honestly the fountain cavorting should get a Nobel. Can we add a #HockeyTwitter category there?

Technically, this isn’t a Capitals’ nominee, but Ovechkin applauding Carey Price’s inhuman effort is what elevates it over the rest of the pack.

Make sure to finalize your votes before watching this. Otherwise, the tears might make your vision too blurry to see the screen.
#LetsGoCaps had our own banner raising at my house, we had to change up the mantel a bit! @Capitals @NoVa_Caps @spittinchiclets pic.twitter.com/DlH9N5ubUg
