Jakub Vrana registers sick assist in Czech Republic’s 7-2 win over Norway

Jakub Vrana had another strong showing in the Czech Republic’s 7-2 win over Team Norway on Saturday.

In the third period, Vrana showed off his brilliant puckhandling as he made Team Norway’s defense look very very silly.

Vrana started with the puck in Norway’s offensive zone to the left of the net, then worked it around behind and passed it to Filip Chytil.

He needs to wash his hands. This is positively filthy.

Vrana also had this ramping shot attempt which was gloved by Norway’s Jonas Arntzen.

Vrana had three shots total in 12:31 of ice time.

Countryman Dmitrij Jaškin also had a strong showing, especially on the penalty kill, where he had some quality short-handed opportunities.

Filip Hronek and Michael Frolik each had three-point games, lighting the lamp twice each for the Czech Republic.

The Czechs’ record is 2-0 with their other win coming against Sweden. They play next on Monday when Vrana and Jaskin will face off against three Capitals’ teammates in the game against Team Russia.
