Early Wednesday morning, the NHL released the potential schedule for the second round of the playoffs.
Should the Caps advance, they would start their series against the New York Islanders at Capital One Arena Friday night at 7:30 pm. The game dates and locations are as followed.
Game One — Friday April 26, at Washington, 7:30 p.m.
Game Two — Sunday April 28, at Washington, time TBD
Game Three — Tuesday April 30, at New York, time TBD
Game Four — Friday May 3, at New York, time TBD
*Game Five — Sunday May 5, at Washington, time TBD
*Game Six — Tuesday May 7, at New York, time TBD
*Game Seven — Thursday May 9, at Washington, time TBD
Should the Hurricanes be the ones to advance from the series, the dates would be the following.
Game One — Friday April 26, at New York, time TBD
Game Two — Sunday April 28, at New York, time TBD
Game Three — Wednesday May 1, at Carolina, time TBD
Game Four — Friday May 3, at Carolina, time TBD

The 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs Second Round will begin on Thursday, April 25 with a Game 1 doubleheader, including Columbus at Boston at 7 p.m. ET (NBCSN, SN, CBC, TVAS) and Dallas at St. Louis at 9:30 p.m. ET (NBCSN, SN, TVAS).
