The Washington Capitals lost their 2-0 series lead to the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night, but Alex Ovechkin is not sweating it (well, unless you consider the humidity outside).
After returning home from a week-long stay in Raleigh, North Carolina, the Capitals captain got back to doing what he actually does best, being a dad, and went on a stroll with his wife Nastya, his dog Blake, and his son Sergei.
Nastya Ovechkina documented some of the trip as Ovechkin went Peak Dad to make tiny Sergei laugh.
Oh man.
Ovechkin’s stickhandling can sometimes deke defenders out of their skates, but there’s no baby on earth that has a defense for that silly face and noise.
But, Ovi, I have some good news. If you think this is awesome, just wait until Sergei can carry around a large oversized bouncy ball. That’s when the real fun begins!
