In August 2016, Giant was named the exclusive grocery partner of the Washington Capitals.
As part of that deal, Tom Wilson made an appearance at the Giant in NW Washington to sign autographs and take photos with Capitals fans. Some fans waited as long as four hours to meet the winger.
And we have to be honest, your photos with Tom are #TopLineTremendous.
I met one of my favorite hockey players this afternoon. I waited in line for an hour and it was well worth the wait. @Capitals @russianmachine @chenkaai @djoosisloose pic.twitter.com/ifaDgXDMC2

Everyone looked fabulous meeting him, but you wonder how all those other snacks in the store must feel sharing an aisle with Tom Wilson. Because he’s the snack. Get it?
Wilson’s next stop will be the Giant at 1400 7th Street N.W. on Thursday.
***Correct address for Thursday March 7th is 1400 7th Street N.W. in DC.*** no longer H St, time will be 4-5 p.m.
