WWE is selling a limited-edition Wrestlemania t-shirt featuring Gritty

The WWE’s road to Wrestlemania has been underway for over a month now. The next stop has their red brand, Monday Night Raw, in Philadelphia at Wells Fargo Center tonight.

To drum up excitement for the event, the WWE and the Flyers are teaming up to bring fans at the show a limited edition t-shirt.

Gritty is featured on the shirt while tearing it up in a professional wrestling ring.

These are amazing. Gritty has been known to get involved in a little bit of the rough stuff, so seeing him in a wrestling ring feels natural.

Gritty modeled the shirt in a tweet for the Wells Fargo Center.

This continues WWE’s embrace of hockey. Last month, during a stop in Ottawa, Braun Strowman used a goalie stick in a street fight against Baron Corbin. The WWE sold Montreal Canadiens-coloured shirts in celebration of Kevin Owens’ homecoming show. Triple H also sent the Capitals a WWE title belt after winning the Stanley Cup.

The WWE’s love for Gritty makes sense. They already has one orange-haired badass running amuck on their shows, why not add another?

RMNB is not associated with the Washington Capitals; Monumental Sports, the NHLPA, the NHL, or its properties. Not even a little bit.
