The Toronto Maple Leafs played the Vegas Golden Knights Thursday in a Valentine’s Day matchup between two of the best young teams in the NHL. The best moment of the night however happened before puck drop.
One tiny Leafs fan brought a sign to the game asking Mitch Marner to Be My Valentine.
Marner obliged in spectacular fashion.
First, Marner tossed the young girl a puck.
Then he asked her for a photo. Watch how excited she gets.
Here’s the result.

The Maple Leafs also made sure to get a photo of the fan and her sign for social media.

This is the second viral moment Marner has authored during warmups in the last week. Marner also noticed a sign in the crowd held by 12-year-old cancer survivor Brock Chessell. Marner autographed a stick and handed it over the glass to the fan.
Best.
