Patrick Kane speared Alex Ovechkin in the crotch during the second period of Sunday’s Capitals and Blackhawks game.

The two players exchanged words in the Blackhawks zone before Kane went bush league on one of the game’s greatest goalscorers.

Ovechkin responded by trying to rip off Kane’s helmet.

Afterward, a scrum ensued in the corner. An enraged Ovechkin and Connor Murphy wrestled each other and were both assessed matching roughing minors.

Kane, however, got off scot-free and Ovechkin was furious as he was escorted to the penalty box.

Same, Ovi. Same.
