Tom Wilson and Austin Watson throw down in a heavyweight fight

The Washington Capitals looked listless in their second game in as many nights, falling behind 5-1 to the Nashville Predators through the first 35 minutes of the game.

Tom Wilson, perhaps desperate to spark his team, dropped his gloves with fellow hockey behemoth, Austin Watson, and the two rock em’ sock ’em enforcers threw hands.

Whip whipped him.

Just imagine two 18-wheelers standing up tall and clanging into each other, and that’s basically how this fight went.

Wilson landed two rights and nearly knocked Watson out with an uppercut. The Caps forward then earned the takedown for the decisive victory.

Before the fight started, Wilson leveled Predators defenseman Ryan Ellis with a huge hit into the boards.

The fight was Wilson’s fourth of the 2018-19 season.

Watson notably started out his season with a suspension for domestic violence, a 27 game decision that was reduced to 18 after appealing to a neutral arbiter.
