Being completely upfront, last night’s game was a mess. Tonight? Hoping for a better outcome, but the Capitals have traveled to Nashville to face the Predators. While they might be coming off a 6-3 loss to the Caroline Hurricanes, the Predators aren’t looking too shabby. They are also playing at home tonight which could make things tougher for the Capitals.
I’m hoping that this intro might be a reverse jinx. By me thinking the Capitals could lose tonight…maybe they’ll win? Or I could be reverse jinxing the reverse jinx. Whatever these jinxes don’t matter (or do they).

- Brennin has the latest installment for miscellaneous things you might have missed during the game last night. It’s a good distraction from the general….play we saw take place.
- Don’t worry, we got to the bottom of the latest burning question. Where the heck is the Chick-Fil-A in Capital One Arena?
- “Don’t let those people try and bring you down.” –Devante Smith-Pelly to the Metro Maple Leaf’s very own Divyne Apollon II. I have also printed this out and I will now read it to myself every single morning.
- The RMNB Midseason Awards continue! Alex is now discussing the Calder Memorial Trophy.
- The Annual Better Halves basket auction is back and better than ever including some signed salami.
- Look, I know last night was a real stinker, but I think it’s sometimes a bit cathartic to pore over what happened. Or, maybe that’s just me. Check out Chris’s latest ‘morning after’ number post.
Spider-Man
The only thing I actually care about in the Marvel universe is the Spider-Man franchise with Zendaya. So, I was very happy to see the new trailer for “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
