TJ Oshie won’t tell us what he said in the penalty box in Detroit

As the Capitals clung to a 3-2 lead against the Detroit Red Wings, TJ Oshie took a four-minute double minor for high-sticking with three seconds left in the game. Oshie accidentally hit Detroit’s Filip Hronek in the face. The Capitals forward was summoned to the penalty box where he would sit for the conclusion of the game.

Once there, Oshie smiled and shared a few words with… someone. A fan? A player? We’ll never know. What we do know is that he pointed up at the scoreboard with his stick. He then took his hand out of his glove to gesture something, perhaps counting the score or how many chicken fingers he planned to eat after the game.

TJ OSHIE RESPONDED.

Um, that is not very helpful, TJ!

What do you think he said?
