Keeper of the Cup shares two Capitals’ team photos with the Stanley Cup

Keeper of the Cup Philip Pritchard brought in the New Year by taking a final look back at 2018.

On Twitter, Pritchard shared two (to the best of my knowledge) never-before-seen photos of the Caps together in the Capital One Arena locker room posing with the Stanley Cup.

The wide-lens photos are likely from the day of the Capitals’ championship parade. The team met at Capital One Arena for an official team photo out on the ice before celebrating with fans on the National Mall.

Pritchard also shared a photo of the Cup wearing a New Year’s hat.
