The Washington Capitals have the backend of a back-to-back with road travel against the Ottawa Senators to close out their play before their Christmas break has them off until December 27. The Senators fell to the Devils last night in Jersey so we’ll have a battle of likely tired foes on our hands once play commences in the Canadian capital city.
Puck drop is at 7 PM and the action will be on NBCSWA+ as Ron Baker’s Wizards are playing the Suns on the main station. Per usual, you can stream all of their coverage of tonight’s game on any of your preferred devices.

It’s a back-to-back so all we know is that Pheonix Copley will get the net. Here’s how the Caps lined up last night in DC:

Vrana – Kuznetsov – Wilson
Burakovsky – Eller – Connolly
Stephenson – Dowd – DSP
Kempny – Carlson

Siegenthaler – Bowey

Dog named Oshie
Look at this good doggo.

Storylines
- Evgeny Kuznetsov calls his netminder “a god”. Join the club, Kuzy.
- Relive Braden Holtby‘s jaunt out to the blueline last night to play sweeper keeper.
- The Caps took down the Sabres last night and here is your recap and morning numbers post from that affair.
- There’s a new angle of Tom Wilson‘s knockout blow that he delivered to Pittsburgh’s Jamie Oleksiak and man that punch would have sent me into the next century.
Chris’ Favorite YouTube Creator of 2018
When I look for YouTube content to binge when I have nothing better to do, I want easily watchable, chaotic, quick, and funny stuff. Cow Chop is the more vulgar younger brother of channels like FunHaus and Achievement Hunter that you may have heard of before. They break a lot of things, spout off incessant foul language, use purposeful awkwardness for comedy, and sometimes play video games. They do shows like cook offs between two contestants that usually have little to no cooking experience, full gameplay playthroughs, roleplaying board games, photoshop battles and many more. Their content definitely skews towards a younger crowd and they aren’t exactly as politically correct as I’d want them to be, but they mean well. Check them out if you ever need to kill 15 minutes sometime.
