Something strange happened before the start of the Capitals-Blackhawks game Wednesday night.
NBC Sports Washington captured a star player from each team getting hit high by a deflected shot during warmups.
Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane was the first player to feel the wrath of a stray biscuit. Watch as the puck slams into Kane’s jaw causing a ripple effect across his face.
Here’s another look at the impact slowed down and zoomed in.
Many Twitter users were very happy for Kane’s misfortune.
I watched this probably 10 times and it just keeps getting better. https://t.co/6jWNYfDFD7

Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin also had a run-in with a puck too. One of the Russian machine’s shots deflected off the goal and hit Ovi in the shoulder.
Both players were fine and started the game because they are hockey players.
