One of the incentives we gave Caps fans to vote for us other than veiled threats that we’d never write for you ungrateful jerks ever again was that the Capitals are a very superstitious team. So if literally everything last year doesn’t repeat itself, such as players biting each other, that chair being in the same place, and hot laps before every road playoff game, the Capitals will have no chance of repeating.
