Michal Kempny says he will return Wednesday night against Vegas Golden Knights

Defenseman Michal Kempny has been out with a concussion since the preseason game against the St. Louis Blues.

Head coach Todd Reirden has confirmed that Kempny will return Wednesday night.

Kempny will likely slot in the second pairing alongside defensive partner John Carlson.

Former Blues player Dmitrij Jaskin will also make his debut Wednesday. He’s slated to play on the fourth line alongside Nic Dowd and Devante Smith-Pelly.

The Capitals will face their Stanley Cup final foes, the Vegas Golden Knights, at Capital One Arena.
