Friday afternoon the Hershey Bears announced their captaincy plans for the 2018-19 season.
The team will have no captain this year, and will instead be led by six alternate captains. Riley Barber, Liam O’Brien, and Aaron Ness will wear the “A” when the Bears play at home. Tyler Lewington, Mike Sgarbossa, and Colby Williams will wear the “A” when on the road.
Last year’s captain, Garrett Mitchell, did not return to the Bears for the 2018-19 season after his one-year deal expired. He is currently with the Reading Royals of the ECHL on a professional tryout.
Among notables to the training camp roster, Garrett Mitchell, the former Hershey Captain, has joined us on a professional tryout.
